Is there any plugin based on API-8? There are lots of changes and I thought if there are some example plugins would be better for developers to move to API-8

Yes. The official sponge examples are up.

If you need help, ive ported one of my plugins (which hooks into a lot) and the Sponge discord is there for everyone to ask any question about sponge, including api plugin development
