Bungeecord w/ 1.7 and 1.8

Hey I was wondering how I could allow bungeecord with a server running sponge 1.8.9 and cauldron 1.7.10, I’ve enabled bungeecord ip forwarding true and bungeecord to true in the sponge global.conf but players cannot connect to the server. It says “This server requires FML/Forge to be installed” but when I join the server that I was trying to join without connecting to the hub it says “If you wish to use IP Forwarding, please enable it in your BungeeCord config as well!” but I have enabled it in the config. I’m using BungeeCord #1119

That by itself will cause terrible problems. Adding bungeecord will probably not work.
Just use normal forge…

Hm, I’ve seen it done before on another server not sure how though.

No it won’t, not if it’s set up correctly.

There is a fork of BungeeCord called “Waterfall” that’ll do what you want. It includes the patch for Sponge-Bungee integration. Use that in place of Bungee.
