Event for punching air/player

Last night I played around with the events like the PlayerInteractEvent. There is a Attack, Use, Pick-Block and Indirect event type. The “problem”: The event is not being triggered if you punch a player or you click in the air. Is there an event for that? Or are there any other solutions to call a method if the player attacks? (It should be triggered doesn’t matter what the target is.)
