Im developing a new powered plugin to chat conversations for SpongePowered API, there is no release yet, the plugin is not usable at this time.

I’ll make the same suggestion to you as i did here:

Please choose a name that avoids confusion with the Sponge Project itself.
On top of that another plugin (see link) with the same name was posted yesterday :wink:

My project has already been renamed, I just haven’t updated the thread yet.

That’s not the point…

I suggest changing the name of this plugin to avoid confusion with the Sponge Project. SpongeChat might give the impression that it’s an official Sponge Plugin (which it isn’t). :wink:

What about naming for example SparkChat ?

Hey Tzk,

I understand your reasoning, but I think anyone who look the plugin know it’s unofficial.
However, I will see whether it is feasible to change the project name.

Really you can just rename the repository and change the plugin id annotation and that would be enough on the surface
