"No permissions plugin is installed"

i did the command
/nucleus setupperms -g
and a message popped up saying:“No permissions plugin is installed” i dont know what it means by this

Do you have a permissions plugin installed such as LuckPerms? Luck / LuckPerms

Nucleus itself does not handle permissions, that is the job of a plugin like LuckPerms.
