Nucleus: The Ultimate Essentials Plugin (MC 1.10.2, 1.11.2, 1.12.2)

console error in spongeforge-4.2.0-1500. Player accept tpa from another player.

When you tell people about errors without posting stacktraces and/or logs, no one can help you

@IBG_Nova - I’ll have to check that, the code looks like it is setting the reason properly at a quick glance.

@Riddle - I think I’ve caught that already, the next build should be good to use, sorry!

@11115 - as @Aaron1011 mentioned, please post the console error in Pastebin and link it here.

Awesome thanks @dualspiral! Do you have an estimated release date for 0.4.5? Also I wanted to let you know your website still only goes up to 0.4.3.

Does your plugin allow me to assign groups to a colored chat? I know it has a chat module and it seems like it should be possible, but I wanted to verify. If it doesn’t it would be an awesome feature to add!

Thanks keep up the good work!

I’m actually releasing 0.5 in a moment, and I need to really keep on top of the docs…

As it stands, no, not yet, but I can put it into the list.

Version 0.5.0 has been released!

This version runs on Sponge API 4.1 (MC 1.8.9), and may not work as expected on API version 5 (MC 1.9.4). An API 5 version is expected to be available in the near future.

New things in this release are:

  • Add configuration option to disable messages being sent to the target when a player teleports using /tp
  • Make players silent when using /vanish
  • Add support for a namecolor option when using a permissions plugin (to set a default colour for a player’s name)
  • Add support for a maximum name length
  • Allow colour codes in ban reasons
  • Allow AFK messages to be suppressed when a player is vanished
  • Update the plugin ID to be “nucleus” again
  • Add ability to send players to the world spawn point on login

It is VERY important to note that if you were using command aliases, Nucleus’ ID has changed to simply be nucleus. Also, please note that this build may contain bugs, please report them all to our Github page - Issues · NucleusPowered/Nucleus · GitHub

Thanks @DualSpiral! I will go about testing an migrating my new data later today. I’ll keep you updated with out it ends up. Thanks for making this plugin it seems like it will allow a lot more than essentialcmds did overall. And thanks for looking into the colored names for groups. Keep up the great work.

How does one change the color of a default group player name, so if I wanted Trainer to have grey names how would I do that?

console error spongeforge-1.8.9-4.2.0-1500. I type “/kit li” in chat of Minecraft and press tab on keyboard. error in console.

@IBG_Nova Add the option namecolor to the group using PEX with the colour code that you want.

@11115 Thanks, that should be fixed soon.

Is there any way to set a groups chat color?

Hey @dualspiral

I’m still getting an error while migrating from essentials. This is what occurs: http://pastebin.com/TMxW2bNE

Any assistance you can provide would be great!

Thanks,
Riddle

Have you created a new server and then tried to migrate from there? It looks like to me that the worlds don’t exist on the server and at least one player has never logged in. That’s why you see the homes failing to migrate, and then the player data failed, but failed catastrophically.

Basically, I’m asking, did you set up a new server, copy the EssCmds data only, then try to migrate it?

This is our test server and is a 100% Duplicate of our live server. So Essentially yes. There are players that have never logged onto this server that may have player data. If that’s the case I think I know what I need to do to try and migrate. Thanks Spiral, I’m going to try something later and hopefully that will work. I’ll delete out all of the extra player data, and see if that changes things. Thanks again.

Good luck. It has made me think I need to make the migrator a bit more resilient to try and make it clearer in the future - so thanks for checking in on that.

is there a way to set spawn with you facing a certain direction?

It seems like some of my kits are still spam-able. They do fix when I change the name a bit, but then go right back to being broken again. I’m not sure what info you need to see whats causing this, but whatever you do need I would be happy providing.

Not having this on my server. How are you setting the cooldown?

./kit setcooldown kitname 24h. it seems to only be an issue that randomly pops up.

I’m having a bit of a problem, one of our admins is unable to see socialspy when the rest of our staff can. He has permission to use socialspy it’s just nobody’s messages are showing up to him. Any idea what could be going wrong?
