Nucleus: The Ultimate Essentials Plugin (MC 1.10.2, 1.11.2, 1.12.2)

EssentialCmds’ /invsee works different than what you think it does

What could be the problem?

You need to update Nucleus

Thank you! I overlooked the new version. Works!

Is there a possibility of adding an external modules folder so that we can add out own modules, I really like the way you guys have set up this plugin :slight_smile:

or should I just stick to the ol’ Github clone sync for updates xD

Are the new multiple prefixes added to 1.8.9 download already?

@Idris No, because I would rather get people to contribute back to Nucleus if it’s a sizable feature that would fit. Is there something that we do that you want exposed so that you can use it?

@Pixelhouse Nope, not in any official build yet.

Mainly because everyone just tells me about how I can just get another plugin when I suggest things I would like integrated, I would like to have separate channels like, Global, Local (within a certain range), Help, and other custom channels. Also a Ticketing system, these features are features in another plugin that almost rivals this one, but I think nucleus will be much superior.

There are definately plans afoot to make a “local” chat channel, and while we have /helpop, that could certainly be turned into a chatchannel system instead. Custom channels is something that would be bit further down the line for now, but I’d take any work that someone puts towards it, absolutely so!

As for a ticketing system, add a new issue at Issues · NucleusPowered/Nucleus · GitHub with how you think you would like it to work, we can get a discussion rolling, see if others have ideas, and eventually we can get it in.

No worries will do, Thanks heaps :slight_smile: I already made a custom plugin per request (from a friend) so adding to your much cleaner modular system wouldn’t such a hassle, I’ll get cracking on a chat system and see what I can put together, mind you though I’m making it work with a 1.8 server as I’m currently compiling a bunch of stuff for a 1.8 Pixelmon server.

We can handle migrating it to 1.10 once 1.8 support is in, don’t worry about that. 1.8 is my main focus still, until API 5 stabilises at least.

Awesome! good to hear it’s 1.8 :smile: (and will be by the looks of it :stuck_out_tongue:)

Could you add /heal and /feed others?

Permissions: nucleus.heal.others, nucleus.feed.others
Commands: /heal <player>, /feed <player>

Is there a way to set a particular number of homes per rank? E.G. the rank Admin being able to set 10 home locations with an ordinary player being able to set only 1?

Also a suggestion: making the socialspy chat grey or another colour, so it doesn’t confuse with the other chats. I know it shows [socialspy] in grey but then the names of players and message itself are in the normal colours, the suggestion would be to change the entire string (socialspy & name & message) to another colour :slight_smile:

This is a great plugin though :smiley:

@laurenscott1209

This page might help you - http://nucleuspowered.org/docs/modules/home.html - it’s to do with permission options. If you’re using PEX, I think the command is /pex group {groupname} option home-count {number}

Fair point on Social Spy, yeah, will look at making that configurable, at least. Thanks!

thanks for the help @dualspiral I got the homes thing sorted ^^

I’m pretty certain Social Spy is already configurable. As I was able to make mine appear exactly how I wanted with
" # The prefix for messages sent to social spies. Use {{from}} and {{to}} for the message sender/receiver, {{fromDisplay}} or {{toDisplay}} for the display names.
msg-socialspy-prefix="&e[SS] &8[&7{{fromDisplay}}&e -> &7{{toDisplay}}&8]: &8"" In the main configue. I can change the color of chat by chaging the last &8 to whatever I want the chat color to be. I had it white initially and later changed it back to grey.

Is it possible to get rid of this message when players get denied via Warp?

I don’t want them to know what the warp is called.

@Riddle You’re right. When you’ve got it doing so much, you forget these things!

@Xynar No, though I don’t understand why you want to restrict it like that. Players will end up telling each other one way or another anyway…
