Then a plugin that randomly generates giant ostrich-shaped sculptures.
A plugin that turns the first block you’re right-clicking into a falling sand entity of itself, and the six adjacent blocks, then the blocks next to these blocks etc. Turn your world into a giant black hole! 
If you find a way to multithread a MC server and further bridge the CPU load across an entire server warehouse, then we’ll see about this one lol

Rather late reply, but you might want to have a look at some plugins that can make light around a player… Torch, I think it was called… They seem to be done server side.
but but… the problems with that is answered 4 posts before yours, due to my own stupidity.
