Sponge for 1.9? it has been skipped?

Hey.

I noticed that Sponge has skipped spongeforge 1.9 … That is what i really needed (1.9), is it just going to be 1.9.4 and onwards??

Sponge 1.9 is still in progress - we’re working on 1.8.9, 1.9.4 and 1.10 simulataneously.

Here’s the download page for 1.9 SpongeForge builds, note that these are development builds, not main releases. That being said, they’re in generally good condition.

Thanks for your reply, so 1.9 will definitely come out then… ? not 1.9.4, 1.9 (they are different)

Unfortunately Sponge only targets the most current minor release - as said, that is 1.8.9, 1.9.4, and 1.10.

As far as I know, there won’t be a full release of 1.9 past what was already developed in old development builds.

There’s no reason to be on 1.9(.0). Use 1.9.4. In fact, everyone will soon be shifting to 1.10
