He means skype is hard to set up properly for what we wanted (hence why we moved) and it is fairly exploitable (with the client to client chat and all) and IRC is a rather complicated thing to work with that doesn’t look very visually appealing. As far as emoji is concerned I haven’t seen a single client that has emoji (let alone IRC doesn’t support it natively)
Yes, but not everyone has a github account, let alone is a developer.
True, but you don’t need anything more than an github account, no developer thingy needed
Github accounts take literally 3 seconds to make, and it doesn’t matter if you’re a developer, as @BitByte said. Besides, the same argument could apply to IRC, Slack, Skype, or what have you.
EDIT: I meant @The_Doctors_Life
I’ve created a public, viewable Gitter room here, not developer-only: https://gitter.im/SpongePowered/Lounge. Enjoy to your heart’s content.
I mean programmer, if you were thinking Sponge Developer.
Yes, that too. Lots of accounts on Github aren’t programmer accounts… a lot of people already have one
Well, whatever floats your boat . We’ll probably still keep the Slack Chat because it is a small group of people for the most part.
How to you confuse bitbyte with The_Doctors_Life?
Its all @BitByte.exe its fault. That procces is like messing with everyone atm.
Maybe @BitByte.exe forgot about daylight savings
@BitByte.exe inverted time and space.
But seriously @gratimax how did you mix me up with @The_Doctors_Life XD
I don’t see anything in the above posts about people mixups. What’s going on?
See @BitByte.exe again. I also can’t see it but its funny lol.
Whoops, I have absolutely no idea how that happened… I probably saw Bitbyte’s avatar while I was writing the comment. My apologies.
Ah, I see it now
We are all human (So therefore we laugh at other peoples mistakes )
I made a SlackIn. Now you don’t have to PM me for things! :D
