Sponge Team Applications?

I was wondering what was going to come of the Sponge Team Applications. Me and loads of other people would love to help on the project, so why not start going through them? I know it says “NOTE: We are not yet doing anything with the submissions yet so don’t fret if you don’t get a response.”, but it would be nice to get some update on it.

Update:

We aren’t ready to go through a list of hundreds of people yet . The initialize form was made to find the core team. That has already been made. Wait until more developments are put in place and then make PR’s.

I plan to, through some means, contact everyone once we actually establish (1) a proper to do list, sufficient to estimate the a release date and (2) figure out where the entity system plan is going.
