Our development team will walk us through the latest developments in the API and implementations, and talk about the game-plan for coping with versions for Minecraft 1.8.9, 1.9.4 and 1.10.
Sponge implementations for 1.8.9 are now quite durable, and will be receiving long-term support.
Showing off more recent developments, the Sponge Community Server will be running:
modded SpongeForge for 1.9.4 (a surprise pack assembled by the Resonant Rise crew, details TBA)
and, in parallel, the very latest bleeding build of SpongeVanilla 1.10, with plugins.
No, they do not… The two versions use different major versions of the SpongeAPI, and with each major version comes breaking changes and/or major additions.
Some plugins may work, but some events have been changed, and some API’s may have minor changes that require some modification from a plugin’s standpoint.
Is there a YouTube recording of this? I see it in Twitch, but if it’s on YouTube, I can watch at 1.5x or 2x speed and put it up on my Chromecast. Just wondering…
