It I here that recalled. 2016-05-14 i spoke with the player. He tried to do some hack with a sign and a button.
The player was kicked from the server. Perhaps the sponge has a base defense? [04:21:57] [Server thread/INFO]: Assas1n lost connection: You have been kicked for attempting to perform a sign command exploit. [04:21:57] [Server thread/INFO]: Assas1n left the game [04:21:57] [Server thread/WARN]: handleDisconnection() called twice
He then I gave a link, but I never bothered to look. [04:30:54] [Server thread/INFO]: [Новичок] Assas1n: www.wurst-client.tk/download/
This is the reaction of the server to high jumps. [04:32:17] [Server thread/WARN]: Assas1n moved wrongly!
Sign command exploit where a client could run a command such as ‘op’
Client could force the server to make the user respawn invisible
Client could set an itemstack’s display name and cause it to exceed the character limit
These patches are primarily for stopping exploits (things like auto-op, item dupe) but don’t go as far as detecting suspicious behaviour.
I think Sponge also toughened the “moved wrongly” and flying checks
