Hey guys, I was just wondering about some stats for my project server, how many people are interested here in the forums about an RPG server? Would you play it? What things would you expect? What things would you want?

This is just to get some numbers and stats just to put my head at rest. Thank you guys!

If you can pull it off right, Space RPGs are awesome.

I have 3 school and 0 time, why can’t I have 0 school and 3 time?

I still have a dream of creating my own RPG server some time, but I still need to get better at time management… ah well. That means I’ve spent some time thinking about them, though.

  • A cool story and as immersive as possible a world
  • Some kind of questing, but not necessarily the grindfest that is any current MMO.
  • Crafting? Non-combat skills.
  • Leveling
  • Classes or combat skill combination
  • Enchanted and -able equipment, without making the endgame a gear grindfest.
  • Cool mobs!
  • Cool dungeons of varying difficulty!
  • Some sort of fast travel/teleportation if the world is large
  • Mounts?

Yes, this I would play :stuck_out_tongue: Keep in mind these are only suggestions, I don’t want to force my ideas onto you :smile:

Unfortunately, this RPG in fantasy/medieval, not very good with space games @DotDash.

Everything you listed @Lemonous is in fact on my server. :smile:. We need to improve our leveling system but we will get around to it. Thanks for the suggestions.
