About SpongePowered

SpongePowered is taking over forge, plus all those server softwares that run plugins, like bukkit and spigot. Forge now needs SpongePowered to run, and SpongePowered owns those server softwares. This needs to stop, or I'll have to try to learn Java coding and solve this problem myself by making a new modloader and a new server software.

This needs to stop!

There is two modloaders I know of other than forge whoms name I won't mension so sponge doesn't take those ones over, but only one server software.

I changed my mind, just delete my account like I asked you guys four times to either delete my account or tell me how I can. Could you just freaking do it all ready?

Sponge is not taking over SpongePowered.

Uh, we build on top of Forge, Forge doesnā€™t require us in any way whatsoever. Nor have we taken over Bukkit or Spigot, the former died and Iā€™m not too sure what is happening to the latter, Sponge arose to fill the gap left by the loss of Bukkit. To be frank, Iā€™m not sure what your problem with us even is, care to clarify?
(And we already know of basically every modding system, Iā€™m not sure why you think weā€™d try to take over them.)

Plus, I donā€™t believe you. I heard somewhere here ā€œForge will now require SpongePowered to runā€.
Those two I know are MagicLauncher, not really one, and the other is LiteLoader.

You do realise @mumfrey (Developer of LiteLoader) is on the Sponge Team right? :stuck_out_tongue:
And MagicLauncher is a Launcher, not a Loader.
Forge has never stated that it will require Sponge to run, we require Forge to run be able to run Sponge.

Why should I trust any of you, anyway? Weā€™ll see tomarrow when you release your combined version of Spigot, Cauldren, and Bukkit.

Someone? Well that was in an official post. But now I see where you get all the wrong information.
Please read more carefully and make use of common sense.

They stated that theyā€™d try to release the API in November.
API != Whole Sponge
November != 1/11

Whilst Sponge isnā€™t taking over Forge, etcā€¦ Why are you acting like that happening would be equivalent to Google buying out every company that exists?

Thats why I said magic launcher is not exactly a mod loader. I don't trust a word you people are saying, but minecraft is just falling apart right now. Notch quit mojang, Dinnerbone lied about updating bukkit to 1.8 himself, and many more - it looks like minecraft is falling apart. By the way, I'm not replying to anything else.

Youā€™ve never actually said what your problem with us is, weā€™re the ones trying to keep the Minecraft Server community alive. Is your problem with us or with Minecraft itself?

Dinnerbone didnā€™t lie, he was planning on updating it before legal issues hit Bukkit.
