Ban plugin with MySQL support?

I was looking around for a ban plugin with mysql support.
But I only found MCBans wich is still WIP.
On the website they said “Use the Spigot version” does anyone know if the Spigot version is supported with sponge ? Or does anyone know a good ban plugin with mysql support ?

No bukkit or spigot plugin will run on Sponge as a note.
