I am seeming to have a problem in my bungee server hooking it up to a pixelmon server using sponge! I am using 1.8.8 on the proxy, and 1.10.2 on the pixelmon (The proxy and hub and all have protocol hacks so we have other versions running too). I have installed SpongePls in the bungee proxy plugins folder, but it isn’t helping at all with a message along the lines of this: “This server does not have FML/Forge installed, please contact a server administrator”. I know SpongePls fixes it, but it won’t work! And using waterfall isn’t an option.
Have you turned on IP forwarding on all your Sponge servers? You need to enable it in two places, in Sponge’s global.conf, set modules.bungeecord and bungeecord.ip-forwarding to true (from Using Sponge with Server Proxies — Sponge 7.2.0 documentation).
I think SpongePls needs configuring too with the names of the servers in question, but I can’t remember.
I have done those two things, and spongepls doesn’t even load up a config, and I have tried restarting the proxy, hub, and pixelmon.

Umm I thought waterfall wasn’t an option but since its forked off of bungeecord, I may just try that, I assume it uses the same config files
