Can't modify the global.conf of sponge

I can’t modify the global.conf of sponge.
After modifying any value.
Restarting the server global.conf will return to the default state.
I’m confused…

The sponge version currently in use：
spongeforge-1.12.2-2838-7.4.8-RC4141

I don’t think it’s a version issue.
Because I had this problem when I used 7.4.2,But the issue did not disappear after upgrading the version

Update the file when the server is off.

When the server starts, the global files will be directly modified to the initial state.

What values are you modifing. If formatted invalidly or something like that, then it wont be able to read, resulting in a reset
