Ive been searching and searching and searching, with even more searching today and after several days of searching…
still havnt found a working chat plugin that will make prefixes work for PEX, and ive tried featherchat but that wouldnt let me server start and instead gave me this error. http://pastebin.com/WQkjdc83

If you just want to display prefixes then you can use Nucleus

i have nucleus though! i have nucleus and PEX, and ive set a prefix for the owner rank and made my character goto that rank, didny show prefix but the permissions work fine

Are you running PEX in file mode or database mode? db is broken, otherwise post your permissions.json (pastebin or gist)

I dont know what the database mode is or anything like that but, heres the permissions.json:
Also make sure to click “show original”

Why are there two “Owner” entries under groups? Try removing one and adding “permissions-default”:1 to the one with the prefix.

looks like you’ve done something wrong, like edit the file instead of using commands, to correctly set a prefix (trying first with a user) type the following /pex user LukeZurg22 option prefix "&8[&1&k&l1&c&lOwner&1&k&l1&8]&7" and then type in chat to see that it works

I DID IT!!! PREFIXES WORK!, THANKS! I love this new community and i am happy that i updated to sponge, regardless that it has alot less plugins that i would want to use

But now how do i set a default group, for when players first join, they are put into that group

Ok, i have everything down and ive been making ranks up till my first donor rank… and i dont know how to make the rank have a set amount of maximum homes to set. Can ya please help me on this one thing?
