Combat 1.8 to 1.12

I am one of the many who thought that the 1.9 pvp update stunk. Maybe im just incompetent and cant find one but can someone make/link me to a 1.12.2 plugin that removes the 1.9 pvp and replaces it with 1.8?

Its currently not possible in sponge without using nms. There has been a request for sponge to have it.

I believe sponge work on a demand and supply bases, meaning more popular/demand for a feature, the more likely it is to be added, so give the request some love.
