Might also need to update your Forge to 1577 at Forge Download
I can’t seem to find the option for Clickable Links in chat anywhere in the jumble of the essentialcmds config but the permission node for it does work.
Although since the new update’s the ability for player with the permission node essentialcmds.color.chat.use can’t actually color in chat.
Not in EssentialCmds config - and sorry about it being so jumbled! I will be fixing the config up, adding comments, as well as organizing it, VERY soon.
Found the issue! Uploading a fix in a few!
Awesome thanks I’ll let you know if you break something else after the update
So where exactly is the client settings then o.0?
In your Minecraft Client, under Multiplayer Settings, I believe there is an option on whether or not to enable clickable links in the chat. I think by default it is set to true, but if not, you must enable it for clickable links to work on your client.
Figured out the issue. Have to type the http:// in the link and not just www.
Release v5.6:
Tested on SpongeForge 851
Changes:
-
/blockinfo
- Updated to display meta-data correctly. -
Mutes Database updated: It will no longer throw a random error if neither MySQL nor SQLite is installed, and will instead inform you correctly. In addition, it will not throw errors if there are no Mutes to read from the database on startup.
-
essentialcmds.color.chat.use
permission will now work correctly - sorry for the mix-up!
Enjoy this update!
Uhh… /afk is broken xD it simply does nothing in chat when I type the command, doesn’t throw me any error’s in the console. And if I do /afk Darktilldawn it says not enough arguments so it mean’s it’s trying to work but something’s not right.
Okay, I’ll fix it soon.
Release v5.6b:
Tested on SpongeForge 851
Changes:
-
/afk
- Updated to work correctly.
Enjoy this update!
Heh, /smite will say you have struck the payer with lighting but it doesn’t actually cause the lightning to hit them, just the printed message saying it did
It actually spawns it, for some reason the effect is not being rendered correctly anymore. Will look into it now.
EDIT: I believe this is a Sponge issue. I am going to post an issue on their GitHub page - if it is an issue, hopefully a fellow developer can get the time to fix it, if not, I’ll get some good info on how to fix it.
database connection is broken again (for mutes i assume) and /afk now makes you afk always instead of toggling
Fixing it right now.
Release v5.6c:
Tested on SpongeForge 851
Changes:
-
/afk
- More bug fixes were done, fixed faulty code, should work properly once more. -
Mutes database: Issues should be resolved.
Enjoy this update!
I would like to congratulate @Darktilldawn for pointing about 15 errors in the plugin every day on average…
and also @HassanS6000 for making sure @Darktilldawn is not disappointed by your plugin
good job
Thanks, I guess.
Thanks xD I feel bad for mentioning an error because I feel like I’m, pestering them. But that’s what I’m here for I guess.
