Just a quick update on Forge’s 1.9 status.
Forge’s download section contains a link to it’s 1.9 release since a few hours:
Although there is no official release post of it’s release.

This is probably the first of many beta builds of Forge for 1.9.

I saw this yesterday. It is probably unstable and many mods still have to update and they may wait until a stable release is out. Wait a few weeks.
