I already have a default group…the one I gave you the info (perms) to in a previous post. Or was that one done incorrectly and I need to make a new one?
And also try reload and restarting server if nothing happens after using these commands…

Ok, so to clarify, def needs to be set to false (-1). I then need to use those commands and try restarting if nothing works. I’ll try that.

Apparently when def is set to false/-1 players cannot do anything. (E.G. they cannot exit a claim)
EDIT: PEX is not to blame for the issue. I was able to give /fly command to default group and all groups in the server were able to use it. Same permission command but with essentialcmds.fly.use 1 instead.

And even after adding all those permission to the group :

People still can’t use wooden pressure plate …
In order to give them entering and exiting a claim u should use this commands…
pex group default perm griefprevention.claim.flag.enter-claim true
pex group default perm griefprevention.claim.flag.exit-claim true

I have to build my server again…
Tried those commands. Nothing worked. Deleted plugin and re-installed. All of sudden with the plugin reinstalled PEX doesn’t work, nicknames are lost, and I get an error null. I also can’t use other commands like /gamemode 1. Might’ve been because I deleted the config files to GriefPrevention as well.
Anyone know what to do to reinstall GP without it killing my server?

GP is back and kinda working. People can still break blocks. I’ve set all the permissions you told me to set. Def is not set to -1 (I think I read in the main post that def should not be set to false/-1). Any other solutions or should I just look for a different protection plugin?
if u dont set def -1 then u have to find every permission that lets players break blocks…
i tried and i think its an exception needs to be fixed… i tried nearly everything but as u said it didnt work…
Redstones are not getting power from buttons or plates
making def false will not clear ur previously made true permissions…
it will only work if there is no permission specified…
and permissions are usually default false
Edit: if they are not made false by default settings u can define with making a group def false…
in GP block break permissions are not made def false
Do not use “permissions-default: -1” as it will break GP permissions checks. GP will check user/group, claim flags, then finally world defaults. If you use -1 then it breaks these checks entirely as GP has no idea if the permission exists or not.
