HungerKeeper simply makes players keep their hunger after death.
Useful for SkyBlock servers to avoid players jumping into the Void to fill up their hunger bar.
This does not effect players with permission hungerkeeper.bypass (so OPs).

What happens if they starve?
They respawn with an empty hunger bar.

It should work with both versions 
Wonderful! Some lazy players kill your character to replenish the bar. Now it’s in the past!

It still works on latest Spongeforge
SnowBlitzz - just tried it on my server spongeforge-1.12.2-2768-7.1.6-RC3616.jar, forge-1.12.2-14.23.5.2768-universal.jar and minecraft version 1.12.2 and it doesn’t work.
