hey so i dont know how to start this,
i made a minecraft pvp client in mcp but since releasing mcp stuff is praticle illegal i want to
recode my client in forge with mixins, and injection stuff.
so i need help with setting up a forge 1.8.9 mod with sponge.*

While Sponge did release on MC 1.8, it was early days and so stability wasnt great. Plus finding a download link now is difficult.
That being said, mixins was a thing, so there is nothing stopping you using mixins to make your own forge mod. But i wouldnt recommend Sponge on that early of a MC version
