Happening to everyone on my server. No matter what version Sponge I am using, from 1288 to 1326. Seems to point to the minecraft_server1.8.9.jar. Tried redownloading, same issue

It looks like the usercache.json file is corrupt. Try deleting it.

Figured it out. It was Enjins latest plugin that was causing that above issue. Reported it to their plugin dev on their thread
