Mods with sponge

Hi! I enderstood that Sponge will work with Forged mods, but what exactly does it mean? Does it means that We’ll be able to use “Bukkit-Sponge” plugins AND mods at the same time?

Sponge is like Cauldron So we got Forge Mods and Plugins at the same time ^^
