A plugin which can create NPC’s and set items to that NPC. They then can sell and buy items for whatever set prices that were set up by the owner. Just an idea, been looking for an NPC plugin for version 1.8.9 that can work with Pixelmon as well.
You mean like this?
are they able to sell minecraft items as well?
The page that was linked does in fact answer that question, you should read it.
this is an awesome feature of pixelmon but what if someone wasn’t using the mod. is there a plugin that does this
You can use vanilla commands to summon villagers with custom offers
It would need to be an universal mod, so not on Sponge’s side. To my knowledge, there isn’t something like this for Forge either. But that shouldn’t be an issue for you, you are running Pixelmon.
Oh I know I was asking on behalf of those not running pixelmon. I used to a run a vanilla server a few years back that had a plugin called citizens that was awesome at in game npcs. Didn’t know if something like that was on sponge yet. Would be cool have if you where doing an adventure map or non pixelmon server
I believe that Citizens was a plugin that heavily interacted with the Bukkit’s inventory API… which is probably why Sponge might not have something of the sort yet - it’s inventory implementation is still being worked on.
yeah i noticed the inventory errors. love to see it worked out.
on another note did you get your server working or you all having the extreme performance problems
We are indeed having performance issues, as I outlined in my tickets to Github. A lot of recurring errors, that considerably slow down the server. Then again, with 70 players on, nothing is actually smooth, be it Sponge or Pixelmon.
yeah mines completely unresponsive shortly after a login. have to force close it to restart. trying the verbose thing but I’m not getting any errors to log it just stops responding and my players lag out then can’t reconnect
How much RAM have you assigned? What’s your plugin list? Submit a /sponge timings report
, it’ll help figure that out.
6gb dedicated to java
Posted a whole start up console on the github check that
timings command thing has never worked for me,it generates a link that always goes to a 404 page
