is there a way to limit how many pixelmon there are at once if so please help because as soon as there is more than 100 pokemon are in the world my 16gb server fails to run.
Sounds like more of a world issue possibly then a pixelmon issue.

Well is not that related with SpongeForge IMO, you could go to your pixelmon.hocon and modify the max entities per player to a lower value
