Friend, you gave me an idea but I can’t configure the velocity correctly, I changed it to legacy so I can’t enter the server through the lobby because the lobby has something from bungeguard, what should I do?

Not use bungeeguard? And find a alternative that supports legacy?

I know compatibility issues are annoying, but you got to remember that 1.12.2 is really old now so legacy support is a requirement

I use Bungeguard so when I change the velocity to LEGACY I don’t connect to the lobby, it keeps trying to connect directly to the pixelmon server

Its either legacy mode with 1.12.2 or modern with bungee guard.

You can run modern servers with legacy mode, but not with bungeeguard on legacy

My lobby is literally minecraft 1.12.2 so it is running MOHIST so we can use Nlogin

Im not familiar with mohist in terms of connection methods. But i have just reread the sponge docs on the situation, turns of sponge can use velocity modern connection, as long as the key is setup on both sponge and velocity

Can you tell me where to put the key in sponge?

Believe the secret key is located in config/sponge/sponge.conf

I’m 7.4.0 and it doesn’t appear that sponge is global.conf

The file is not located in the global file
