[Request] Dynmap for SpongeAPI 5

Exactly as the title suggests: It would be greatly appreciated if Dynmap existed for SpongeAPI 5. I am looking for something that doesn’t need to be on the client install… I haven’t found anything yet about anyone doing this, so if I happened to have missed it, please point me in the right direction.

Thanks for your time.

For now if you are using SpongeForge you should be able to use the Forge version of dynmap. You can find information about that here: http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding/minecraft-mods/1286593-dynmap-dynamic-web-based-maps-for-minecraft

Was looking for something that doesn’t need to be on the client install… Thank you though!

Well if you are running SpongeForge for your server software it can simply be installed on the server as a server only mod. It does not need to be installed by users on the server.

If you are using SpongeVanilla there is currently no solution at the moment though, sorry.

dynmap is only a server sided mod? lol
dont need it for both client and server.

Yes, it is. You simply add dynmap as a server mod and here you are.

Otherwise, if you have full access to your dedicated machine, you can install external viewer like these : http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Programs_and_editors/Mapping#Map_Viewers

Don’t you need it to be client side to run the commands for it from the client-console?

No, all of the commands can be run without installing it on your client.

Two people suggested to use dynmap forge, why don’t you just try and see by yourself ?
