[Resolved]JRE version 1.8.0_40 (or above)

I have been trying to install sponge on my server for some time now but all it keeps saying is this: Screenshot - 6e67288aa20a6e682fd3072a93ac2207 - Gyazo
It keeps telling me it’s not up to date when you can clearly see it is.
If anyone could explain it would be greatly apreciated

It sounds like you’re using an out of date version of the java version checker. What build of Sponge are you using?

I have the latest java version installed.

This is the version for sponge i’m using : spongeforge-1.8.9-1722-3.1.0-BETA-1136

I needed a 1.8.9-1722 specific build for my server, would it help if i use earlier version of this build?

What mod do you have that requires 1722? That spongeforge is super old.

Pixelmon 1.8.9 - 11.15.1.1722
I’m using this version so i can play a custom build map.

Do you need pixelmon 4.2.7 for the map? Or are you able to use the 4.3.0 builds?

Note that you might run into other issues when using such an old build. Most up to date plugins are already using API 4.1.0 or 5.x.x, so your SF version (with API 3.1.0 support) is by far too old to run them.
