Was there a Discourse update that added this? I myself prefer the blocky version.

Noooooo they have not. I got on and was like woah that changed! I do like them blocky too, seems more appropriate for a minecraft based forum

Also the new CSS for tags, the text is black vs white. Is this on purpose?
