This is an issue with Pixelmon. Try updating both SpongeForge and Pixelmon.
Because SpongeForge recently moved to MC 1.8.9 but Pixelmon requires 1.8, you can get the latest SpongeForge build from here: spongeforge
There will be an update to pixelmon for 1.8.9 soon so when it comes out be sure to update (as I believe there are some other fixes in it too).
