We’ll then I guess they haven’t added it yet then
maybe send a PR for something like it.
I could probably quickly mock up an API and implementation for banning / kicking a player.
Your backseat moderation is funny.
This information is not accurate. Read the “faq” please.
@Nack_Serrosja
Please dont spread misinformation.
Forge is already available (and has been for a while for 1.8), the Granite team is working on an implementation and there are plans for a Glowstone implementation down the road.
Consider this to be your official warning
Here are thing to conside"rr",
- There is no given proof other than “by mouth” as american say that glowstone or granite has any association to sponge, or against sponge
- I know forge is available, you should talk to
- Misinformation spread by faq, not me. See faq for “complete” information.
- “Planned & officially working with Glowstone team”, https://github.com/GranitePowered/Granite/tree/sponge
First one if from the FAQ, and the second is Granite’s branch for their implementation of the API, @AzureusNation is one of the Granite devs as well - Forge =/= Forge Implementation
Can we please bring this thread back on topic? Glowstone and Forge don’t really have anything to do with disconnecting a player. =P
Sponge does not either. Not than isBanned. Only solution to butterdev is using underlying implementation until solution made.
@Nack_Seerosja I think we have established this.
~ButterDev out.
I’ve created an issue here, please see if any of you can make a PR for bans in particular
@gratimax if I have some time I’ll look into it
Incorrect. Sponge-API may be implemented on other platforms, and relying on forge/nms will break version compatibility (that said, at this stage sponge-api is not yet version safe)
@ryantheleach
What about his post is incorrect?! Seems completely correct. Your post doesn’t contradict his in the slightest.
@gratimax I have started work on the system a little, I’ve written the API part just need to write the implementation.
