Now, this is really @Mumfrey’s domain, but here’s a little guide on what you should try before reporting an issue.

Hi, I got a strange issue, I run forge, I can connect to the server but there is no window, as usual there is a kind of console.
Is it normal, or did I make a mistake?
I use forge 11.14.1.1397, sponge 1.8-1371-2.1DEV-431 and java 1.8.0_45-b14. And I’m on windows 7 64-bits.
When I remove sponge I got the usual console window.
Thanks you and anyway I’m very glad sponge is released!

Sponge (coremod) currently disables the native minecraft server GUI. You can still enter commands and the usual stuff on the shell window.

Ho yes like with bukkit, I feel a bit stupid xD
Thanks you again!

CodeChickenCore had many compatibility probs before. it kept breaking when used with other mods.

… and you didn’t think to at least post the crash report?

That’s a bit like say, a car’s headlight isn’t working and telling the mechanic ā€˜my car doesn’t work’.
We NEED MORE INFORMATION.

fix the problem

What problem?!!
I (the mechanic) may be looking at the car engine, exhaust system etc when I should be looking at the headlight bulb.
Please pastebin the crash report, but ONLY if it crashes with sponge and not without.
