This situation will be Spongeforge version development is faster than Sponge plugin development,This is true and Sponge plugins are chasing the Spongeforge version, maybe I want to use the forge 1577 and sponge 1577 ,but the plugin haven’t been develop yet, To find suitable plugin for a server is a problem , in other words, if i want to use a login-like plugin
maybe I need to wait for update (flexible login plugin can’t be used in Spongeforge version 1577)
And famous plugin still port now , now I can see just permissionex but snapshot version (= =)
what’s your opinion??
Right now Sponge is still in heavy development. We plan to release a beta by the end of the year - the API should break much less from that point onward. That means that plugin developers won’t have to constantly update their plugin so much, and hence make plugins much more stable in the long term.

Personally for me, my plugin FoxGuard is ALWAYS up to date, as my IDE screams at me when API changes break it. I think it is the responsibility of the plugin devs to keep up.
Once SpongeAPI hits beta, you’ll see a lot more plugins that are up to date.
At that point things should be much smoother sailing as long as none of the devs accidentally knock over a bucket of FLARD.
