When will Sponge API Version:5 come out?

When will Sponge API V:5 come out? I heard Sponge 1.9 will come with it? I want to make a Sponge server in 1.9 but I want to know when it will be out so I can do that. And final thing. Will Sponge API Version: 4 be updated to 1.9 for use because I want to know if I don’t have to wait for plugins to update to Sponge API Version 5. Thanks

We don’t give exact dates for development builds of various things, including jumps between minecraft versions. Currently, you can pull SpongeVanilla down from github and build it and run it, but as you’ll notice, it’s still in development (mostly because we’re introducing new systems with this update).
