The “Thank You” badge has the description “Has at least 20 liked posts” and the “Appreciated” badge has the description “Has received at least 1 like on 20 posts.” Unless I’m mistaken, this is the same thing…

Has at least 20 liked posts is actually referring to posts you’ve liked, not posts you’ve posted which others have liked.
Yeah, the description is poor. I disclaim responsibility for that one!
