About
Toasty Networks is a Modded Minecraft Network that is currently hosting 4 Modpacks; Tekkit Legends, FTB: Infinity Evolved, Sky Factory 3 and FTB: Beyond. We have over 4 years experience in the modded Minecraft field and are currently one of the largest modded minecraft networks. We on average have 100 players on across all times, but are still growing and always looking for ways to improve. One of our core values is that we always aim to enhance the players experience on our servers (both in terms of functionality/aesthetics, and in terms of reducing TPS lag/bugs) before moving on to the next project.
Work Needed
To help facilitate a larger rate of growth, while maintaining our core value of server enhancement, we are now looking for developers to hire. Skills required include:
- Extensive experience with Java
- Experience with the SpongeAPI
- MySQL experience
- Experience with BungeeCord
This role is a long-term commitment, and as one of our developers, we will require you to do many tasks such as:
- Porting plugins over to Sponge
- Work on aesthetic based plugins
- Develop economy based plugins
- Construct plugins that are required to meet a certain need
- Fix bugs within other plugins/mods
Rate/Budget
This can be negotiated with us upon contact. Money is not a problem if the work is sound and does the job well.
Terms
You may display on your portfolio work that you have done for us.
We will hold the rights to any plugins/projects you undergo with us. Any project source code you write for us will go into our GitHub, and may/may not be held in a private repository, depending on the nature of the project.
