hey guys,

i think its great that this community is working together to make great plugins for sponge and port already existing plugins from bukkit, keep at it guys, you are all awesome.

so with that out of the way, i know there are many economy plugins already developed here, but i am going to make a request. Vault is a bukkit plugin used for many things, including economy stuff, it is needed for use in MyTown2 and its permissions for money used to make transactions using a number based currency. Mytown2 is a town protections forge mod which offeres the best in server protections for players, it is extremely flexible in how it protects modded items and storages among other things.

so with that in mind, would it be possible for someone to get Vault working as a sponge plugin ?

  1. MyTown2 is 1.7.x and sponge is at the minimum 1.8
  2. All the stuff provided by vault is better integrated with sponge’s APIs already

Yeah, there’s no reason for Vault to exist on Sponge specifically, since the entire purpose of Vault is already integrated in SpongeAPI itself (Economy, Permissions, Items, etc.).

And, just as a finalizer, Vault uses Bukkit not just in its implementation, but in its API. So MyTown2 wouldn’t work anyway.
