Should we have them?
IMO if we do they should be max 250 characters and max 100x100 pictures.
I don’t think discourse supports them. They almost always end up being annoying IMO

Considering the fact that half the time I use it to advertise my server I tend to agree with @disconsented but I do think it would be nice to have a maybe text signature you could put a quote in or something.

Text signatures never really add anything to the discussion and most times are used only for advertising or something silly. On top of that they usually take up like 30%-40% of the thread from sites I’ve seen that have them.
So no, I don’t think we should have them.

I totally agree with @disconsented. I don’t need flashy banners advertising sbdys server in the discussion. Discourse is designed to be able to have a civil discussion, and having some unrelated picture beneath every post someone makes breaks the flow.
