Agreed with it is better in ALMOST every way. Only thing stopping me from ditching Windows completely is poor game support, especially older games that I never see as updating. Most of the other programs I use I could either do without because there is a close enough equivalent or they are on Linux natively!
Heh, Exactly what I want to use it for. But I have no need to.
All flavors of Ubuntu, Mint, Debian, CentOS, Fedora, Arch, KnoppixâŚthink you get the point.
Same here, I agree what you said. But instead of games, I need applications that does not work on Linux and alternatives arenât great (e.g. ShareX). .NET is now open-source and there might be an official port for Linux. I am very happy about that.
Ya thatâs the reason most people give, either games or Windows specific applications. Luckily that is also why you either have more than one PC or you duel boot
Ubuntu 14.04 with i3 instead of Unity.
i3 is awesome. Well, Itâs not awesome but itâs even better!
.NET received an unofficial port to Linux, mac, android, iPhone, ⌠already.
Itâs called Mono: http://www.mono-project.com/
I used that, doesnât work with some big programs. Strange that flu.x (windows version) works with it, even though it had a Linux version.
How does it look like that. Please explain! I run Ubuntu on my laptop with Arch on my desktopâŚ
Firefox is themed, the top bar has a plugin that pulls the currently opened tab into the name, and the sidebar is mostly transparent with the wallpaper behind it. I think.

and yes, fl.ux has a linux version⌠I ahve used it, and eventually uninstalled it becuase I thaught it made my screen look ugly⌠I used it use it on windows thoughâŚ
You should look at f.luxâs open source alternative redshift
I will sure install that on my Linux machine.
I run Linux lite on my main desktop and Windows 7 on my secondary.
