Does anyone know what servers will be porting to sponge anytime in the foreseeable future? Are there any servers that are currently using sponge that I can join? I want to get the feel for a sponge server and what they can do for other server creators. Both modded and not modded. I want to have a few good sponge servers.
You can also use this post to find new servers that are for sponge. No non sponge servers in this post please.

sure Our Server 2016 Is just a tiny little thing that uses clans, tech, and magic all rolled into one. You want to do something? done…just be ready to defend your creations to the bitter end on a PVP server 
course you could join a nation/group of clans or a powerful clan and just be under their protection and return the same but hey.

None. Sponge is not yet ready to be used in production yet. It’s a bit unstable at the moment.

Actually, once the Inventory API is implemented I’m hoping to release a server utilizing Sponge on a network I work for.
like i said i run one and so far it’s pretty stable i reset it every day but it’s working with mods and plugins.
Spigot will always be for larger servers. Although once sponge gets finalized I could see new servers seeing sponge as a viable option, as you can make your own plugins easier than Bukkit.
Until folks start to use Sponge. Sponge has the superior API, and also has performance enhancing code like Spigot so that’s not going to hold it back. Folks are just less willing to migrate until Sponge has solid stability (not that Spigot’s done any better lately) and more plugins written for it.

It would spark interest in new people when it comes to making server. Updating is a good idea as we see there is new ideas to be held with these plugins then with Bukkit. New ideas come to create new plugins. This is something new and it would mean people will want to make new things. They may of course as we see with our community with Pore and porting bukkit plugins to sponge that a lot of these plugins are still of interest but now can be part of something new. Something that sparks a new light in developers. You can start to see new plugins for big servers. And new ideas for modded ones. Plugins can now be made with mods. Plugins for mods are now possible and plugins can affect modded blocks. That may not be relevant to big non forge modded servers but will create new interest for future servers.
