World Save causes abnormal spikes

World Saves skips 300+ ticks for a few seconds. I believe my server specs are beefy enough to not have this happen.

Info:

  • SSDx3 soft raid

timing cached reads: 13307MB/s
timing buffered disk reads: 229 MB/s

  • E3-1245 V2 @ 3.40GHz (never goes over 40% usage)
  • 32gb RAM
  • World is ~13gb

Is this topic about the same thing as this? At least it has to do with saving the world.

Update: Using IO monitoring script. It only write to my ssd at ~3mb/s. Any way to boost that speed?

It looks like Pixelmon’s ComputerManager may be causing the lag on save - other people have reported issues with this.

If possible, I would try saving the world without Sponge (but still with Pixelmon), and see how the lag caused compares.
