This issue has been previously discussed here, but I feel as if would be good to poke around and find a fix for it, since the thread itself is inactive.
I am currently having serious performance issues when the server reports that player X is moving ‘too quickly’ even including vehicles (including pixelmon mounts?). The server, in trying to ‘slow-down’ the player, rubber-bands the player, causing issues client-side, as well as spamming and overall dropping the mean tps (measured using /forge tps
).
Would like to know:
- Is there a way to disable this?
- If yes, how and for what version of spongeforge?
- If not, should I take it to Github or somewhere else? Because this isn’t necessarily a bug, just a bad feature.
I am currently running (in Minecraft 1.10.2) Forge 2073, SpongeForge 1683, Pixelmon 5.0.0-beta5 and Nucleus-0.7.2-S5
.
EDIT: As I posted this, here is the prime example of the performance dropping as the vehicle is tracked.
