Option to disable auto-tracking on read posts?

I often browse through threads without replying to them or without really having any interest in the topic, but despite that, Discourse apparently likes to set you as tracking said topic just for having read it (presumably after a set amount of time reading it). Is there or can there be an option to disable this feature per account? I suspect some people my like it, but I don’t so much. Aside from that, I’m definitely for Discourse, quite nice.

I’ve actually been looking for an option to automatically track every topic, I would like to see a count of unread posts beside every topic.
