Plugins to be ported!

Yes, I will be porting Boss Bar AutoMessage

Please keep going with mcMMO it is essential on my server! I loved the work you guys did on bukkit, don’t quit now let’s keep this gravy train rolling! :stuck_out_tongue:

These are the plugins I use on my server, and I would love to see ported! (From Bukkit) :

  • Group Manager
  • Essentials
    Essentials Spawn
    Essentials Chat
  • Multiverse
    Multiverse Portals
    Multiverse Inventories
  • WorldGuard
  • WorldEdit
  • Lockette
  • Cenotaph

@BlizzardFyre Its a private plugin right now, it is made for bukkit.
Theres a link on sponge: Spongepowered.org (CLICK)

this could be another plugin interesting to see, as far that i know it’s the one seem the most simple for getting a player head

plugin named ā€˜ā€˜head’’

if the owner doesn’t claim it, i hope someone will pick it up or make a similar one

@Latouth If it is not public and it does not have a license then it does not belong on the list.

Well it was going to be public but bukkit shut-down too quickly so i didn’t even bother to upload because it’s like dead.

EDIT: it has a sponge forum page, it has the license there.

Here is a list of plugins I would like to see ported over. Sorry if I duplicated any that have already been added to the list!

LONG LIVE MINECRAFT! LONG LIVE SPONGE! MINERS UNITE!

@Latouth That is not legally binding and there is no file. Bukkit is not dead yet, they still accept plugins for submission and check them, as well as make new ones and have updates. If you want it added then post it somewhere I can find.

Does anybody know anything about Quests status?

I’ll port [DragonTravel][1].

Topic up to date!

@anon55597060: The most specific thing I know is that he’s not continuing with developing it for Bukkit… Getting more information than that is hard when there’s no comment section on either his BukkitDev or his Curse page. The repo also hasn’t been updated since August 22.

Hmm, well, I also tried to ask about his plans with Quests for Sponge on his forums, but there is no activity.

There is something that confuse me, and it’s the fact thar in its DevBukkit page, the project is under All Right Reserved, but the code is published on GitHub, and there are people who has forked it, so… It is legal to updated the plugin to Sponge by another developer?

No, it isn’t.

I will port my plugin iDisguise.

Correcting the listings in the document, I WILL be porting Project Rassilon.
I will NOT be porting FeatherEconomy at this time.
I will NOT be porting BossBroadcaster- instead I will create a new plugin for the same purpose, but using a different feature to show the messages.

All my plugins will use the MIT license (heard something bad about GPL?)

Also, my username is Squawkers13, not Squakers 13.

What about GroupManager? (I kinda prefer it as it is easy to use especially on small servers.)
I find it easier than other permission plugins and plus it was the first one I learned to use.

Sorry about the mistyped name, sometimes things go a bit fast. By all, do you also mean you change the license of the plugins you’re not porting?

@DragonHeroRush: Try asking the dev on BukkitDev, Twitter etc

Alright thanks, but one last question I’m not sure if I missed it in the list or not but what about towny @Lemonous ? It’s my favorite plugin of all and I use it on my server currently. Is it on the list as well?

Yes, ElgarL pops on the sponge forums from time to time. Towny will be ported.

Also, two points of information which might be of interest for you:

  • The list is in alphabetical order
  • You can search the spread by hitting Ctrl+F and then typing your term into the field that pops up in the upper right.
