I run a small factions server called Nyxcraft using the latest Spigot Build #1649 binary patch. On the server is the plugin Carbon which allows the use of 1.8 items. This being the case, you have to join with the 1.8 client. I welcome anyone who would like to join.

I’m starting development on server with another Java developer. Right now it’s all coded in the Bukkit API but we’ll be transitioning to Sponge when the Glowstone implementation is available.
Why not use the forge implementation?

I run a 1.7.9 Spigot server. Its survival, economy and custom items. We just added parkour, pets and crazy world guard flags. Speaking of plugins I have my console open and my admins are making some crazy sounding npcs. I’ll be off to murder them for making a moving, killing, teleporting Herobrine.

I run a small server called “NOIDCRAFT! - Vanilla Chocolate Minecraft”.
It’s mostly vanilla with a few additions like gringotts and essentials and only for whitelisted players.
We wanted to enjoy the multiplayer survival aspect of the game but most servers either altered the mechanics too much, were pay2win, or had a lot of griefing.
We’re the minecraft equivalent of a hippie commune

Probably i have the smallest server here… but i proud of idea that i’m trying to implement. Server is called Cadabra. There are no commands, they are replaced by… spells, that take xp and hunger. Any player can read some books, learn some magic words and combine them to create his own spell! For example “am visio monstra kripera elektrum” will create a creeper on the block you looking at, and strike lightning in the same place". Yes, silly example, but there are already more than 70 magic words (and its event without monster and block names). Soon players will be able to use books for their “magic scripts” and launch them with one click from inventory =) Really, not many players want to read books in a game… so online is always low.
Server is Russian, but i hope to translate all books someday =)

I’ve been running a creative craftbukkit server for a little over two years now. We started back in May 2012 as a whitelisted server. Now we’re a completely open server that’s open to anyone just as long as their mcbans rep is 8 or above. We’ve set up a system that prevents new players and potential griefers from accessing our other worlds made for those who are dedicated and who’ve earned their ranks up. We’re running on 1.7.9 now. The Defenestration Minecraft Server has been public on the same map since 2010. (And was a private whitelisted server prior to that.)
We’re a small, largely on-hiatus server dedicated to casual and intermittent players, who’ve been quietly building over several years. In some cases, this means awe-inspiring single-builder cities, in others, it means meticulously fine-tuned surface terrain and gigantic underground warrens of tunnel mazes. We feature one of the most sophisticated minecart station systems around. Dedicated administration means we have a revision history for the entire map for the entire four years of operation; take a six month break and your project will be just as you left it when you pick the game back up.
We’re not really looking for more players until the 1.8 server situation is resolved, but tourists are welcome. Spelling, grammar and maturity matter in player applications. In general, it’s an adults-only environment, mostly because it’s hard for kids to relate to all the old people who play (occasionally).
