Problem: Preview Box cut off!

This happens in Firefox ESR 24.8.1 (without plugins):

Maybe it is related to I have to zoom in extremely close to post anything even this! - #8 by thomas15v ?

Setting width of the boxes to a smaller value fixes the problem, but even then, the boxes are overlapping, and all the margins and paddings are broken…

#reply-control .wmd-controls .textarea-wrapper, #reply-control .wmd-controls .preview-wrapper {
    width: 49.5%;
}

Edit: It works at home using http and https (with Firefox 32). I did not try https on the Firefox ESR, I will do that tomorrow…

  1. Have you refreshed?
  2. Have you tried to use another browser?

This feels like that one situation where someone has forgotten to provide the logs…

How about no HTTPS, just use HTTP

I’m not saying it’s not possible to contain different web-data when using a different scheme such as http vs https, but I doubt that, in this case, that’s what’s happening.

I refreshed the page many times.

As @simon816 mentioned, I believe it’s been said that’s only an issue with https. Or at least similar issues due to an issue with handling stylesheets over HTTPS

The thing is: It works at home using http and https (with Firefox 32). I did not try https on the Firefox ESR, i will do that tomorrow…

Do you have any browse addons installed in your Firefox?

No, it’s a university pc without addons. And the long term support Version of firefox

Does the university censor the internet in any way? When I was in high school they very strictly censored the web and that cause some strange problems for sites that weren’t blocked. If this is the case it explains why it works at home but not at the university.

I guess porn sites won’t work, but in general, it does not restrict the usage. Also, it worked until a week ago. I will try it again tomorrow…
